Visual Learning

We all learn differently, some are fine reading everything out of a book, but some can't learn at all without visually seeing things and being hands on. An image or video gives us a clear understanding on topics, not only that, but it helps capture our attention.

With media formatting in PowerPoint, you can insert photos, videos and audio. These can make you presentation fun and interesting, making it more effective when showing your audience your point instead of just telling them.

There are many ways to customize your media as well. You can incorporate styles and effects, crop, align, etc. The floor is yours! Be sure to make things eligible though. Just because it may look neat and fancy doesn't mean it'll be easy to read when presented through a projector in a big room full of an audience who can be far back in the room.

  1. Anthony, great point on projector and big room. I've been bit a few times in a large auditorium where the back third couldn't read the slides...how embarrassing!

  2. Hi Antony, Its great pointer on Visual effects in Power point. It helps the presenter to communicate the thoughts and ideas without any misinterpretation to the audience.

  3. You are head on about the visual needs for some people. As I am one of them. Great job explaining what to use in presentations to make it visual.

  4. Hey Anthony, you are spot on about visuals, what looks good on a screen might not work well for a large audience or big room.
